Why You Are Entitled to a Refund
Anyone who is in an emotional state of distress is particularly vulnerable to unrealistic promises of healing.
This is precisely what the Düsseldorf Regional Court clearly stated:
A “telepathic partner reunification” offered in exchange for a high advance payment may be considered immoral and legally void.
The consequence: The contract is void – the fee paid must be refunded (§ 138 German Civil Code).
What matters is not how the provider describes the service (“spiritual life coaching”), but what was actually promised — in particular, specific guarantees of success.

Telepathic Partner Reunification in Court – A Clear Judgment
The Düsseldorf Regional Court ruled:
A contract for telepathic partner reunification involving a five-figure advance payment is immoral and therefore void.
Of particular significance was:
- Exploitation of an Emotional Distress Situation
- Objectively Unverifiable Service
- Conspicuous Disproportion Between Price and Performance
“The managing director of the defendant not only exploited the claimant’s emotionally vulnerable situation, but also demanded a fee that was in a striking disproportion to the promised — yet objectively impossible — service of partner reunification.”
