Despite multiple attempts to contact customer support, access remained permanently denied \u2013 no withdrawal was made.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Legal action proves effective: Wirex backs down after lawsuit.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following a thorough legal review, the law firm Cocron filed <strong>a lawsuit with the competent court<\/strong> . The subject of the lawsuit was the return of the deposited Bitcoins or their equivalent monetary value \u2013 based, among other things, on the <strong>unauthorized provision of financial services requiring a license<\/strong> under Section 32 of the German Banking Act (KWG) and on <strong>civil claims for restitution<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even while the proceedings were ongoing, Wirex reacted and initiated a <strong>full refund<\/strong> .
